6 Cheap Valentines Dates- OR dates for anytime.

So many feel Valentines Day is an overrated and sometimes overly expensive holiday.

But don't let that stop you from spending some much needed quality time to let your mate know they matter and mean the world to you.

1) So easy it's frightening.

Grab a coffee and a walk. Sometimes you just need to recharge and walking is great way to do that. How often do you get to exercise with your love? So grab warm drink and take a stroll.

If that's not exciting enough find a place to snow shoe or hike. The groundhog may have seen his shadow but last we checked there's still snow in much of the country. Snow showing and winter sporting is at times even more fun because there is lots of cuddling needed after to warm back up. Think of how great that hot toddy will be then!

1½ ounce brown liquor such as brandy, whiskey or rum1 tablespoon honey½ ounce lemon juice1 cup hot waterLemon wedge, cinnamon stick and star anise, for garnish (optional)

2) Heart Shaped Pizza and a Fancy Drink at home in front of fire.

Cost of date about $20 -30, depending on bottle of wine.

Yes papa Murphy's still has those! and they are perfect for date night in. Not greasy and set up a cozy romantic spot on the carpet and enjoy. Even if you have kiddos its extra fun. But don't forget the champagne or vino!

3) Tour a Brewery/ Winery

There is a plethora to choose from in just about any city and it's likely something you can do last minute. Sometimes learning together is one of the funnest parts of being together.

4) Take a Yoga Class together.

Cost Approximately $10- 20 per person.

Much of yoga is very useful in the bedroom and sensual. What better way to get juices flowing than in a low lit yoga room. Many specialty yoga places have guest passes for first timers or a discounted rate for the holiday. Grab some dinner or make it together when you get home.

5) Bubble Bath / Spa Night -

Approximate cost- free if you have ingredients

Give each other facials, hand and body scrubs and be relaxed together. You don't need to go to a spa when you can create it in your own home. Chances are you have things in your fridge that will make it even more fun and are useful Beauty items.

- A mask of honey and lemon oil or honey and oatmeal is great for your pores.

- Sugar scrub with 1/2 cup Granulated Sugar.1/2 cup Organic Coconut Oil.15-20 drops Essential Oil of your choice. - great for hands, feet or whole body.

-Banana Face mask- Cut or break a banana into small pieces in bowl. Mash up the banana with a metal spoon. Add Tbsp. honey and tsp.lemon juice to the mashed banana. Mix Apply the maskto the face, and let sit for 15 minutes. Rinse well using a warm washcloth.

Think of the fun bubble bath you could have after this.

6) Host a potluck / game night for you and your non plan having friends.

Cost $0 if you have food in your house already.

One of the easiest and fun ways to incoirate families that have kids to Valentines day is to spend it with others that feel your pain in not having a sitter. Or just couples that don't have plans.
